Welcome to a garden and craft fair in its natural setting – outdoors! Here you’ll meet a wide range of plant sellers from Dalarna, northern Sweden, Gävleborg, and Finland – offering plants that thrive in our northern climate.
We also host a large number of exhibitors showcasing crafts that can decorate your garden, your kitchen table – or even yourself!
If you’re tempted by something tasty, there are plenty of local delicacies to discover. And after a pleasant day at the fair, when hunger strikes, you can choose between dining at Villa Långbers’ restaurant or grabbing a bite from one of our food vendors. There’s something for everyone.
Over the years, visitors have described the fair as “intimate, friendly and really great,” with inspiring lectures and appreciated activities.
Included in your admission ticket is access to a broad program of expert talks and inspiring lectures – covering gardening, plant knowledge, cultivation, crafts, and much more.
Sometimes it’s hard to experience everything in just one day. The solution? Buy a 3-day ticket and enjoy the fair all weekend long.
If you have ideas or suggestions, feel free to contact us at tradgard@konceptmassor.se.
On Friday, you can purchase tickets for last year's hit: our VIP package!
The VIP package includes:
Lunch with a talk by garden expert Linda Schilén
A small gift
Afternoon coffee and treats
Entry to the fair all weekend
And if you want to make your visit even more special, you can book a cozy Garden Weekend at Villa Långbers, staying right at the heart of the fairgrounds.
On Saturday, May 9, renowned gardener Charles Dowding will be giving two lectures.
Please note: Both lectures will be held in English and outdoors.
No Dig, why and how. An easier way to garden, in tune with wildlife.
Compost - Ways to make it and use it.
Boksigning at our book-store.
Charles started organic and no dig market gardening in 1982, on 6000 m² in Somerset. His vegetable grew superbly and with fewer weeds than normal. Nobody else was doing commercial scale no dig and he was learning all the time.
Over 40 years later he shares globally the benefits of his no dig approach for vegetables, using no fertilisers or other synthetic inputs.
His first book “Organic Gardening” came out in 2007,and he has written 14 more since then. His most recent books are Energy Gardening, April 2025, and Compost, published September 2024. Each year he writes and publishes a Calendar of Sowing Dates.
In 2013 Charles published his first YouTube video, and joined Instagram in 2016. He loves the possibilities of ‘new media’ to inspire and inform, millions of people worldwide. While in person he travels a lot, and loves making the connections with followers old and new.
He runs his 1600 m² no dig market garden, at Homeacres, Somerset, UK at 51° north. Average annual temperature is 11°C and rainfall is 940mm. Sales are around £35,000 annually, and the garden is a source of constant information from trialling, new vegetables, new ways of planting, and the comparisons of no dig, with soil, which he digs, or forks every year, in different trials.
Gardener, Author and Inspirational Speaker
We’re delighted to welcome Linda Schilén as one of our featured speakers and sources of inspiration throughout the entire weekend. Linda will give several talks and you’ll also find her sharing tips and advice in the Inspiration Stage area.
If you purchase a VIP ticket for Friday, you’ll also enjoy an exclusive lecture with a Q&A session with Linda.
Profession: Gardener, Artist, Lecturer
Family: Husband, two children, Icelandic horses, a farm cat (originally from the neighbors), a couple of mixed-breed dogs, some pigs, and a flock of chickens.
Linda and her family live on Åsby Gård, a charming 19th-century farm just outside Eskilstuna, Sweden. There they grow vegetables and flowers and care for all their animals in the surrounding pastures.
Linda has been growing plants and vegetables for as long as she can remember, always with a strong desire to bring more greenery and beauty into her surroundings.
But her true gardening passion was sparked after moving to her first house in Sundbyberg, where she discovered two forgotten boxes of seeds left behind by the previous owner. Curiosity got the better of her, and she sowed them – with 100% germination success!
Not only did the seeds grow in her garden – they also planted a passion deep within her soul. Just four years later, Linda proudly earned her title as a professional gardener.
Since then, gardening has become her creative outlet – much like her painting, just with new materials and tools!
Today, Linda works as a lecturing gardener, author, inspirational speaker, and plant expert.
You might also recognize her from Swedish national TV (TV4 Nyhetsmorgon) where she presents the popular “Garden Calendar” segment throughout the year.
